Shahrukh Khan teaming up with Imtiaz Ali would have been a long dream for any movie buff. This dream had now indeed become a reality with Jab Harry Met Sejal, but it also makes us realize that some dreams may not become a reality we wish for.  Life is all about acceptance.

The movie has all elements of to become an Imtiaz Ali’s masterpiece. Good dialogues, Exotic locations, Good performances, but somewhere down the lane, the story seems to be missing out some key elements.

Shahrukh Khan, the romance god, seems to be caught in a confusion of whether he should act as a full blown romantic guy or should he be more subtle. In pieces we see the glimpse of the romance god in him. But sometimes we end up wondering what is he doing.

Sejal, played by Anushka has done a decent job, but her role is more confusing of the all. We never get to decode, what does she actually want and why is she behaving the way she does with SRK. An outspoken person like Geet in Jab We Met is atleast acceptable. But Sejal has gone few steps ahead and this will make the viewer confuse over if she is actually looking for what she had lost? or does she want another vacation? or she just wants to spend quality time with SRK?

But, keeping the logical aspect apart, the movie is a total time pass. Harry is a Punjabi man working as a Euro guide is lovable. The dialogues are good and Shahrukh has done it with ease. Anushka has also played a role of a Gujarati girl well. The songs are good and some of them are already topping the chartbusters. The overall feel and aura of the movie is good for the amount you spend for the movie.

This movie will surely be a Hit among SRK fans and people who just want a time pass movie. There are bits for intellectual people as well, if you can decode it. The first half is amazing but the latter part of the second half may seem a bit dragging.

So grab your tickets and show all your love for this movie.
