With this film, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone will be seen together for the first time in Indian Cinema.

This film is believed to be a partial autobiography of the life of Akshay Kumar and even Akshay has accepted it. Deepika will be seen in her first double action role in Chandni Chowk To China where she plays a role of a Indian and a Chinese woman. Chinese actor Gordon Liu is making his bollwood debut with this movie. The synopsis of the movie is that Akshay Kumar who is a chef is mistaken to be a Martial Arts expert and leads to a interesting journey.
