Dil Bole Hadippa Movie Review

Rani is back with Dil Bole Hadippa. As publicized, the movie is all about her and Sahid Kapoor has little scope on it even though he did a good job for his part. Yash Raj Films has come with yet another movie on cricket for the cricket crazy nation.
Veera Kaur (Rani) is a simple Punjabi girl who is crazy about cricket, but is not able to play since its a man's game. Rohan (Sahid Kapoor) is a English County cricket player. His father has been loosing the Indo-Pak Aman Cup for nine consecutive years now. He calls for his son to lead the team. Sahid Kapoor starts the selection for the new team and this is where Veer Pratap Singh(Rani) comes in as a male player.
Rani has done a reasonable good job in maintaining the differences in her characters. The role of Veer is comical and that is the only highlight of this movie. Rani has shown a great body language to play a role of a male cricket player.
The film has it own moments but they never seem to pick up. The greatest disadvantage for the movie is its story line. The story is too predictable and you can easily know what is going to happen next. The songs in the movie are OK, but could have been much better.
Overall, Rani's comeback movie Dil Bole Hadippa will not become her go-back movie and i am sure that she is here to stay longer for her second innings.
Plus: New pair on screen
Minus: Film is too preditable
