Google Chrome

Google, recently came up with yet another application. Chrome, the web browser was recently launched after a small delay. After using it for a few weeks, I feel that this could prove to be a major competitor for Firefox3. As most of the web users, who use Firefox now have another open source web browser to switch to.

My references to other web sites revealed that Chrome has already occupied a small portion of all the browsers used in the world. If it continues, Chrome will sure surpass Firfox3 and Internet Explorer soon.

As far Microsoft is concerned, its much anticipated IE8's launch is expected to delay a bit more after the launch of Chrome. May be Microsoft is feeling a bit insecure and wants to check Chrome before launching IE8.

There were a few features in Chrome that i felt were interesting. For instance, Chrome got "Incognito Mode", using which you can surf the net anonymously. There are also some common features like tabbed browsing, instant bookmarks and others that will come in handy.

In short, I recommend all the web users to download Google Chrome and enjoy its benefits for free.
